Draft v0.3 · 2026-09-28 · Not yet in force. The final text will name the provider (a sole trader / individuali veikla registered in Lithuania) and the effective date, and will be reviewed by a lawyer before the first subscription is sold. Payments go through Paddle.com Market Limited (UK), our merchant of record.

1. What Tinystudy is

Tinystudy is a study-planning app. It reads the courses, deadlines and materials you already have access to on your school's Moodle site, shows them in one place, notices new material, and builds a short daily study plan for your upcoming tests and exams. Tinystudy is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Moodle Pty Ltd or your school. "Moodle" is a trademark of Moodle Pty Ltd.

2. Who may use it

You may use Tinystudy only if you are a student with your own Moodle account and you are 18 years old or older. By signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not offer accounts to anyone younger. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may close it and delete its data.

3. Your Moodle account stays yours

Tinystudy never asks for, sees or stores your Moodle password. It reads your deadlines from the calendar export link your Moodle site gives you, fetched only when you press the button; and it reads your course files through the Tinystudy button, a bookmark you press yourself inside your own signed-in Moodle tab. The button reads only what your Moodle shows you, using only your Moodle site's own read-only functions, and only on your instruction; your Moodle session never leaves that tab and never reaches our servers. You are responsible for following your school's rules on the use of its systems; if your school does not allow tools like Tinystudy, do not connect it (see §3A). We never act in your name on Moodle: Tinystudy does not submit assignments, sit quizzes, post in forums or send messages.

3A. Using the Tinystudy button

3A.1 Your permission. The Tinystudy button copies course material from your own signed-in school Moodle page into your own browser, at your instruction. By using it you confirm that you are allowed to access this material through your own account, and that you copy it only for your own personal study (not to share, sell or publish).

3A.2 Your school's rules. Your school, and Moodle's terms of service, may have rules about tools that work on the school site. You are responsible for finding out whether those rules allow you to use the button, and for following them. If they do not allow it, do not use it.

3A.3 What we do and do not do. The button only does what you tell it to do, in your own session. We are not a party to your school's rules or to Moodle's terms, and we do not decide for your school what is allowed. We are not responsible for a decision your school makes about your use of the button (for example limiting your access) where you used it against your school's rules. This does not limit our liability for our own faults or for anything that cannot be limited by law (see §9), and it does not affect your statutory rights. Tinystudy cannot promise that your school allows the button.

3A.4 Stopping. If your school tells you, or us, that the button is not allowed, stop using it. We may switch the button off for your school or your account. If we do so and you paid, the unused part of the paid period is refunded.

4. No promise about your grades

Tinystudy helps you plan and revise. It does not guarantee any result. Grades depend on you, your teachers and your school. The "estimated grade", "coverage" and "time saved" figures are estimates computed from how much of the likely material fits into the minutes you choose; they are not predictions, not advice from your teacher and not a substitute for the syllabus. Study content built from your material may contain errors or omissions, including when the optional fact-checker is switched on; check anything that matters against your teacher's material. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for grades, exam outcomes, admissions or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Tinystudy.

5. Your material and our content

Course materials remain the property of your school and teachers (or their licensors). Tinystudy processes them for your personal, private study only; your copies are kept in your own browser, and the only parts that leave it are the text of one test's material for study content and the audio pieces of a video lesson for transcription, which are processed and not kept (Privacy policy §3). You may not use Tinystudy to redistribute course materials. The study content Tinystudy produces for you is yours to use for your own studies; the software, design and text of Tinystudy remain ours.

5A. Class sharing (optional)

Class sharing is off unless you switch it on in Settings, separately from accepting these terms. If you switch it on, you allow Tinystudy to give the study pack prepared from a file you collected to another student who collected the identical file and also switched sharing on, and to give you the study pack prepared for them. You confirm that you collected the file yourself from your own school account under §3A. Only the study pack, not the file, is shared, never your personal data, and never with someone who does not already have the same file. You can switch it off at any time. Study packs may contain errors. Material in a pack stays the property of your school, teachers or their licensors; you may not use a shared pack for anything but your own study. If a rightholder or school asks us to remove a pack, we may remove it. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights. Privacy policy §3A explains the data side.

6. Trial, subscription, cancellation

• The free trial lasts 7 days and needs no card. One trial per person; the number of new trials we grant per day is capped. If you do not upgrade before the trial ends, your account falls back to the free plan automatically - nothing is charged.
• Paid plans cost EUR 4.99 per month or EUR 39 per year (tax included); a plan renews automatically at that price until you cancel.
• You buy and hold your own paid plan as the account holder; a paid plan is available only to accounts of people aged 18 or older (§2).
• Paddle.com Market Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom, is our merchant of record and the seller you buy from: it appears as the seller at checkout and on your invoice, collects your payment, handles VAT, and issues your invoice and payment receipt. We never see your card number. The order button says what you commit to ("Subscribe and pay"), and Paddle sends you a confirmation e-mail.
• Cancel any time with the in-app "Cancel subscription" button: the subscription then stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew after that. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription: cancel it first with the in-app button; if you do not, we use the record the deletion keeps to stop the subscription and refund any payment taken after the deletion (Privacy policy §2). A free trial has no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.
• If you are on the yearly plan, we e-mail you a reminder 7 days before it renews, so you can cancel first if you choose to.
• Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): within 14 days of your first payment, you may withdraw using the in-app "Withdraw and get a refund" button. It first shows you the amount and the date the 14 days end and asks you to confirm; once you confirm, your subscription is cancelled immediately, the payment is refunded in full, and we e-mail you a receipt. Because the service starts at once, when you subscribe you expressly agree that we may begin performance during this 14-day period; that consent does not shorten the 14 days or reduce the refund - it only means the service is available to you straight away instead of waiting until the withdrawal period ends. After the 14 days, ending a subscription is only possible going forward, with the cancel button, and without a refund for days already used. The free plan needs no payment and can be stopped at any time.

7. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other people's accounts, overload your school's systems, share your account, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to cheat (Tinystudy is a planning tool, not an exam aid). We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or that a school reports as misused.

8. Availability and changes

Tinystudy is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but free-tier infrastructure, your school's Moodle configuration and browser changes can interrupt it. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the paid service we refund the unused part of the current period. We will tell you about material changes to these terms by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days in advance.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for intent, gross negligence, or death and personal injury). Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims in a subscription year is limited to the amount you paid us in that year. Consumer rights under the law of your country of residence, including Lithuanian and EU consumer protection law, are not affected.

10. Law and disputes

Lithuanian law applies, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live. Disputes go first to us (the bug-and-feedback button in the app); EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform or the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority.
